Global Edit
Creative asset management made simple
Globaledit is a powerful asset management platform that connects teams and streamlines the creative process from capture to distribution.
Designed for people at all stages of the creative workflow, our reimagining of the UI dramatically simplifies the user experience for ease of onboarding and intuitive, contextual tools. Our agile collaboration with the client team helped us deliver an extensible, modular design system to support another ten years of growth.
Serving a diverse range of creative industries our design of the user interface is organized by project workflow with file management on the left and contextual actions on the right — helping orient people no matter what role they play in the creative process. And with so many discrete functions, customizable panels allow people to personalize the layout to focus on the task at hand — even the file menu and filmstrip can be hidden from view.
If people are the heart of Globaledit, collaboration is its soul. The redesigned UI emphasizes tools for communicating with each other and ensuring clear visual cues for all of the activity that takes place. Most notably, a newly improved markup editor streamlines conversations by replacing long-winded explanations of creative input.
The redesign leverages Globaledit’s powerful cloud technology so that coordination tasks are easy to perform — from uploading, accessing, and archiving content across projects and teams to extensive tools for user, file, and account management. And for those less-inclined to browsing, a robust search UI helps them locate assets quickly — sifting and sorting by filename, metadata, ratings, upload date, and more.
Sharing files in real-time with Figma, our design team collaborated closely with in-house developers to create a modular, extensible design system to serve dozens of unique application views, that can scale to meet the needs of the platform for years to come.
